What do you love about your career?

What I love about my job is flexibility: Work-life balance, an open-door policy, and that the company understands that you have other things to take care of outside of work.

Tell us about something that is inspirationally important to you.

Life is a journey with problems to solve and lessons to learn, but most of all, experiences to enjoy.

Discipline really means our ability to get ourselves to do things when we don’t want to.

What advice would you give to someone starting their career?

There’s much more to the job than putting in time, but being seen as someone who values time and is willing to work hard is a good first impression.

What advice have you received that has helped you in your career?:

Venture outside of your comfort zone.

Search for the value in feedback or criticism.

Where have you grown the most in your career?

Where I’ve grown most is in my communication skills; it’s vital to be open and honest.

What does “success” mean to you?

Success to me is knowing that your contribution or completion of a task has made a positive impact.

What makes a good role model? Have you had one that has made an impact in your life/career?

I think a good role model is positive, kind and honest. They work hard, and share their expertise. My mom is my role model. She always let me know to be the the best of me, and to be open to feedback whether it’s good or bad.

What are the things that have helped you excel in your life/career?

The things that have helped me excel in my life and career are prayer, keeping a positive attitude, and understanding the work environment.
