What do you love about your career?

Every day is different in the life of Property Management!

Tell us about something that is inspirationally important to you.

Four words that are inspirational to me, YOU CAN DO IT! I played basketball from third grade to my junior year in college and at every game when I was at the free throw line, I would hear my Grandma say, “You can do it!” You can do anything you put your mind to!

What advice would you give to someone starting their career?

Listen, be responsive, build vendor relationships, be proactive, ask questions, and pay attention to detail. Be organized, patient and do the right thing!

What advice have you received that has helped you in your career?

Keep a good attitude, engage with people, be organized and do one thing at a time.

Where have you grown the most in your career?

Communication skills, setting & meeting personal goals, adaptability, stress management, integrity, giving and receiving feedback.

What does “success” mean to you?

Success is a relative term. If you achieve what you want to and are happy, then I think that is success. It could be applied to life in general or to individual tasks in life.

What makes a good role model? Have you had one that has made an impact in your life/career?

A role model is a person whose character is worth emulating or imitating. They inspire others to be their best self. In my career at Hiffman National, Gail Vermejan made a huge impact on my real estate career.

What are the things that have helped you excel in your life/career?

Having a positive attitude, being a team player, being willing to take on extra duties, being considerate and enjoying each day!
