As an undeclared junior at ASU, I attended a job fair on campus and was drawn to a real estate development company who ultimately hired me part time while in school and then full time as an assistant in their land development division after graduation. The three years of experience I gained inspired me to pursue a career in real estate. It was then I decided to return home and I secured my first job as a Property Assistant not realizing I had just begun my career in Property Management. I really enjoy Property Management and enjoy coming to work for many reasons – this field is certainly fast paced and dynamic, no two days are ever the same and sometimes you just have to roll up your sleeves and dive in. This field fosters both independent creative thinking as well as collaborative thinking. I lead by example and I feel as an authentic leader I create an environment where people feel valued and comfortable. I encourage strategic problem solving, team work and a “can do” attitude which must be balanced with risk taking to achieve the goals of our clients. The team knows we are in this together and can depend on each other. During my 20 year career, I have worked for organizations with strong cultures; however, NAI has proven to be a firm that listens, builds trust, collaborates, encourages open communication, projects positive intent and provides encouragement which allows us to enjoy the ride as we achieve positive results for our clients.
My real full time job is being a loving caring nurturing mom to my daughter and son. We live on the Chain of Lakes and enjoy spending time together boating, kayaking, canoeing, strawberry & apple picking and taking short trips. Our most recent trips (outside of visiting the kids at college) include hiking around Devils Lake and hiking in the Smoky Mountains. We take annual trips to the North Woods with family to fish, kayak and go four-wheeling. We also run the annual July 4th Antioch 5K for Freedom as a family. We also enjoy spending time with my folks at their time shares in Puerto Vallarta and Cancun where we are afforded the opportunity to zip through the jungle, rock climb and jet ski. I value time with immediate family and friends as well as church family and I strive to foster good morals and ethical behavior in all those who I encounter on this journey.
