Like many others in the field, becoming a Property Manager was not my dream job as a child. Since I can remember, I have always wanted to work with animals. After receiving an Animal Sciences: Pre-Veterinary & Medical, B.S., I explored many facets within the industry including entomology, equine sciences, conservation, large animal practice and ultimately ended up in the small animal field at a Corporate Veterinary Clinic. In the Corporate Veterinary sector, I was exposed to an entirely different set of challenges than I was accustomed to in my previous endeavors. Here I was not only in charge of the patients, but I also was responsible for new business, training, over-seeing direct reports, and managing expenses so that we could provide affordable veterinary services to our Clients. It was then that I became inspired by the challenge of balancing the Practice operationally and financially, which ultimately lead into Property Management. Once the opportunity was awarded to me at NAI Hiffman I knew that this was a company I could believe in. From day one, I immediately was immersed in the culture and felt “at home”. Even after a few years with the firm, I can still confidently say that I made the right choice to change careers. Every day I am supported in my work and empowered to take on new opportunities. And through this support, I continue to be driven for our Clients, my peers, and my family.
Outside of the office, I am mother of two amazing daughters (Evangeline and Penelope). Between those two, my husband (John) and dog (Rosie Posie), there is never a shortage of fun. Our home is exploding with arts and crafts, snacks, cool dance moves and so much love.
