I’ve always been a competitive person. My background as an athlete has really shaped the person I am today. I believe that my work ethic and passion for my profession and being a genuine person sets me apart from many people. I have always had to find a way stand out among talented competitors in order to obtain every accolade. Ultimately, these situations made me realize what I can achieve if I dedicate myself to success. I used this mindset moving into the real world as a broker. I love what I do, and I love how competitive the real estate brokerage business is; much like being a college athlete. My sense of pride and wanting to be the best at everything sometimes keeps me up at night, but it has also gotten me to where I am today. The lessons I have learned throughout my life have prepared me for any roadblock moving forward. I have a lot to learn, but I know that there is nothing standing in front of me and reaching my goals except the effort I put in. As my father always tells me, make the necessary sacrifices to succeed and put your head down and grind; it will always pay off.
Outside of the office, I am a man of many interests and hobbies. I find gratification in my ability to be well rounded and have many talents. I have always loved music, drawing, sports, the outdoors, and being with my friends and family. I took an interest in the piano at a young age. I used to sit in front of my keyboard poking different cords until I eventually could play the melody of my favorite song. When I wasn’t playing wiffle ball, football or basketball around the neighborhood, I was walking through the forest in my backyard, fishing in my neighbors’ pond, or grilling out with my dad and brother in our backyard. The reason I chose USC was not only the prestigious football and academic programs, but the myriad of activities and things to do around the city (hiking, surfing, fishing, biking). While I love sports, because it is the ultimate competition, there has always been a side of me that wondered what my path would have been if I didn’t play them and dedicated myself to another interest of mine. My family is everything to me. My mother has been through a few health issues that has made me realize what is important in life. We are a family of four. I have one older brother, and despite being seven years apart, we have always been extremely close. I know I can always count on him to keep my spirits high and to be the first one to congratulate me when I have achieved something. That goes for my parents as well. My mother and father have always taught me the important things in life, treat people how you would like to be treated and work hard in everything you do. I couldn’t be more blessed when it comes to my family. My father has taught me how to be a strong minded individual, and my mother has taught me to be myself and not to be afraid of showing my emotions; among many other things. I can honestly say, I don’t not know where I would be without those three. I really enjoy this business and look forward to my future as a broker, while at the same time continuing to develop my outside interests and talents to be the most versatile person I can be.
