NAI Hiffman brokers sale of a nearly 75,000-square-foot warehouse property in Chicago

CHICAGO, IL (January 10, 2017) – NAI Hiffman is pleased to announce the sale of 830 West 40th Street, a 74,997-square-foot industrial property located in the Back of the Yards neighborhood of Chicago.

Chris Gary and Joe Bronson, both Executive Vice Presidents with NAI Hiffman, represented the buyer, Hog Shed Ventures, LLC, in the acquisition of the property from VK 830 W. 40TH, LLC, which was represented by George Maragos, Mitch Adams, and Nicole Mentone of CBRE. The building will be the home of Frost Lighting, which is a full-service event production company.

“The building really suits our company’s growth,” said David Kelly, president of Frost Lighting. “We had outgrown our prior location on Goose Island, especially in terms of parking.”

The building features 9,150 square feet of office space, 160 parking spaces with an option to expand, 18’ clear ceiling height, and three interior loading docks.

The property is situated on a 5-acre lot just minutes away from nearby transportation routes, including I-90, I-94, and the Stevenson Expressway approximately three city blocks North of the building.
