NAI Hiffman’s nomination of KTR Capital Partners
garners NAIOP Award for Industrial Redevelopment of the Year!

Please join us in congratulating Larry Much, SIOR, Steve Connolly, SIOR and Irv Malik, whose project with KTR Capital Partners was recognized as the best in its category last night at the NAIOP 22nd Annual Awards for Excellence, held at the Sheraton Chicago. We congratulate KTR Capital Partners, Keeley Construction and Ware Malcomb and thank them for including NAI Hiffman in an amazing project that means so much to our city and to the advancement of industrial green development.

Revelopment Project Description
4404 W. Ann Lurie Place, Chicago

In December 2007, KTR Capital Partners purchased the 311,000 SF Dominick’s facility along with its adjacent 9.89 acres with plans to upgrade the facility and develop the land.  Shortly thereafter, KTR finalized a lease for 175,000 SF Build-To-Suit to Preferred Freezer Services and began development for a state-of-the-art LEED-certified freezer/cooler facility. Concurrently, KTR began renovating the existing building and secured a lease for 167,000 SF with Gold Eagle.  Thus far, KTR’s $55 million investment has provided extensive construction employment and several new jobs in the City.  The project was permitted and approved through the City’s new “Green Building” planning board.
