Mercury Insurance moves to expand Vernon Hills offices

Mercury Insurance Services LLC is increasing its space by more than 50%, to 23,654 square feet as part of a move to 560 E. Bunker Court in the Continental Executive Parke in Vernon Hills, from another building in the north suburb. The subsidiary of Los Angeles-based insurer Mercury General Corp. is moving from 850 N. Milwaukee Ave., where it has 15,479 square feet, said Victor Sanmiguel of Chicagoland Commercial, who represented Mercury. The office handles claims, underwriting and other administrative tasks, according to Mr. Sanmiguel. Jason Wurtz of Oakbrook Terrace-based NAI Hiffman represented Portland, Ore.-based Pacific Realty Associates L.P., which owns four buildings in the office park totaling 300,000 square feet.
