Unlimited Carrier, represented by NAI Hiffman, is moving their headquarters from Lansing to Lemont. The trucking company has purchased a 33,400-square-foot industrial building on 8.2 acres for $2.95 million from Interstate Lemont LLC. Interstate Lemont originally purchased the property from Ashland Chemical in March of 2007.

Located at 13555 Main St., the facility includes 7,400 square feet of office space, three exterior docks and two exterior rail doors. The property has a +/- 5.2 acre drop lot that was an attractive and unique amenity for Unlimited Carrier, which plans to utilize the excess land for outdoor storage. Unlimited Carrier has retained Development Solutions Inc. as their general contractor and plans to make several improvements to the building, such as the addition of several docks and the build-out of additional office space.

Benjamin Cremer, senior vice president, and Michael Robbins, senior associate, of NAI Hiffman’s industrial services group represented Unlimited Carrier in the transaction. Interstate Lemont’s general partners Paul Ahern and Tom Barbera of Interstate Holdings both represented Interstate Lemont LLC in the sale.
