RhinoDox announces construction of new storage facility

Document-management company RhinoDox, currently handling document and data storage needs for hundreds of Chicago businesses, is announcing the construction of a new storage facility. The state-of-the-art space will meet the growing needs of its current and future customers.

PREMIER Design + Build Group will design and construct RhinoDox’s new record storage facility in Brewster Creek Business Park in Bartlett.

“Our business helps companies design document management solutions that involve both physical and electronic documents. Due to the growth of our business – only proving more that paper is not obsolete in the 21st century – we are in need of additional space,” said RhinoDox President Justin Ullman.

“PREMIER is applying its collaborative expertise in both industrial and commercial properties to create RhinoDox’s modern space,” said Brian Paul, PREMIER Design + Build vice president. The exterior of the 66,617-square-foot facility will feature a modern architectural entrance with prairie-style landscaping. The site and building are being configured to accompany a future expansion of an additional 24,000 square feet.

The built-to-suit facility will include a high-cube 38-foot clear height, 11-inch thick concrete floor slab, load bearing precast for the exterior walls, ESFR sprinkler system equipped with K-22.4 sprinkler heads (to accommodate the substantial clear height), energy-efficient T5 lighting, two truck docks and two drive-in doors. It will be designed to similar standards of the National Archive and Records Administration.

Construction began in November and will be completed August 2013. MB Real Estate Service’s David Graff and NAI Hiffman’s Jeff Fischer were key in finalizing the project deal and continue to be paramount players in the construction process.
