Market in Motion: South Chicago Industrial Market

As industrial companies move out of Fulton Market and Goose Island to make way for residential, office and other commercial uses, demand for remaining industrial development in the City of Chicago is on the rise. South Chicago, the largest of the region’s 21 industrial submarkets, has seen significant activity to accommodate those users.

In our newest Market in Motion video, Chris Gary takes us on a tour of the South Chicago submarket, providing insight on the history, recent activity, and the future of some of the submarket’s Planned Manufacturing Districts. Watch the video here ยป
