Chicagoland Industrial Development & Developers

Demand in the Chicago market has been tremendous over the last five years. So much so, that more than 53.15 million square feet of industrial speculative development has delivered to the area since 2013. The top 20 developers alone delivered 41.79 million square feet to the market! As developers continue to manage new inventory to align with current deal velocity, future deliveries may begin to taper off. That said, 8.45 million square feet of additional speculative development was in progress at the end of the first quarter of 2018, signaling a robust pipeline for the remainder of the year.
