Jack Reardon: Combination of knowledge and passion leads to success

A 23-year veteran of the commercial real estate business, Jack Reardon ranks as one of the top commercial real estate brokers in the Chicago area.

Reardon, vice president with Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.-based NAI Hiffman, is known for both his market knowledge and the passion that he has for closing real estate deals. Because of this, he’s crafted a client list that includes some of the biggest names in the business community. And he’s represented some of the largest assets in the North and Northwest markets of the Chicago area.

For instance, Reardon represented the 2.2 million-square-foot Woodfield Corporate Center/Woodfield Preserve Development. This project still ranks as one of the region’s largest office projects.

And that’s just one example. Reardon has also represented such well-known developments as the 900,000-square-foot Continental Towers; the 450,000-square-foot Atrium Corporate Center; 1 million-square-foot Parkway North; and 650,000-square-foot Corporate 500 Center.

Other important projects on Reardon’s resume include One & Two Century Centre, Centennial Centre and Pointe O’Hare.

What is Reardon’s secret for nabbing such prestigious projects? He doesn’t follow a secret formula. But he does work hard. He does study his market intensely. And he provides top customer service to his clients. Because of this, Reardon’s clients are loyal. And they trust him with their most important projects.

“Jack is a staple in the Chicago real estate community,” said one nominator. “With a passion for executing deals for his clients with the utmost integrity, Jack has represented some of the largest assets in the North and Northwest markets. He is well known for his market knowledge and insider intel.”

Reardon has also earned some of the industry’s top honors. In 2010, for example, he nabbed the NAIOP’s Suburban Office Transaction of the Year Honor.

And Reardon has given back to his community, too, most notably the Greater Chicago Food Depository, a Chicago-area organization dedicated to making sure that residents of the area have enough to eat. Reardon has earned a Chicago Sun Times/Crain’s Greater Chicago Food Depository award in 1995, 2005 and 2007.
