NelsonHill completes 72,000-square-foot industrial lease within Calumet Business Center

NelsonHill has completed a 72,000-square-foot industrial lease located within the Calumet Business Center at 1550 E. 98th St. in Chicago.

Berkshire Refrigerated Warehousing LLC has expanded and relocated the dry portion of its 1155 W. 40th St., Chicago, operation to this 210,334-square-foot industrial building. The private company was established in 1984 and offers freezer and cooler storage for climate and temperature controlled freight. The new location is situated within the 2.1 million-square-foot Calumet Business Center, offers rail service via Norfolk/Southern Railways and close proximity to I-94/I-57.

Frank Melchert, senior vice president, and Douglas Hayes, managing director of NelsonHill represented the tenant in the transaction and Chris Gary of NAI Hiffman worked on behalf of the building owner, Ashley Capital.
