Three leases completed at Edens Corporate Center

NAI Hiffman recently represented The Davis Companies in three leases at Edens Corporate Center in Northbrook.

The Bureaus Inc., a financial services firm, signed a new lease for 4,369 square feet of office space. Law firm Berlin & Braude has been a tenant in the building since 1998 and renewed its 3,410 square feet of space for an additional five years. Open Markets, a company that builds demand-driven group buying opportunities for healthcare equipment, will also be a new tenant at the property.

Edens Corporate Center, located at 630-650 Dundee Road, is a property that  features twin, Class A four-story buildings totaling 188,000 square feet located just west of I-94. The property is owned by The Davis Companies and managed by NAI Hiffman.

“We feel we have the best in class property in Northbrook, having now completed the building renovations and upgrades to the amenities base that we promised our tenants we would complete,” said Duncan A.C. Gilkey, senior vice president with The Davis Companies.

NAI Hiffman was awarded leasing and management services of Edens Corporate Center in April of 2012 and has since brought the property to 84 percent occupancy; available spaces remaining range from 1,600 to 10,600 contiguous square feet.

Upon acquiring the property in 2012, The Davis Companies brought its trademark style and approach to Edens Corporate Center by targeting areas for improvement and planning renovations. Updates include a completely redesigned deli and tenant lounge, a 2,100-square-foot outdoor courtyard, new monument signage, fully renovated conference and training room facilities, redesigned restrooms and refreshed lobbies featuring new digital directories.

Michael Flynn, Linda Garske and Jason Wurtz of NAI Hiffman represented The Davis Companies in all three transactions. Peter Balyeat of Korman Lederer represented The Bureaus Inc. Jarrett Annenberg and Adam Showalter of CBRE represented Open Markets.
