NAI Hiffman adds three properties to management, leasing portfolio
NAI Hiffman has been awarded management and leasing assignments for Tower Station in West Chicago, Railway Plaza in Naperville and Nelson Plaza in New Lenox.
The addition of the three properties expands NAI Hiffman’s retail management and leasing presence in the Chicago metropolitan area to more than 56.6 million square feet. NAI Hiffman assisted the previous owner of Tower Station in the sale of the property and consecutively won the management and leasing under the new owner.
“We are pleased to have been selected to lease and manage these three shopping centers as we continue growing our retail platform,” said Bob Assoian, managing director of NAI Hiffman’s Management Services group.
Each center will cater to its local community, providing ideal locations for small restaurants, retailers, coffee shops, chiropractic/medical users, dental services and fitness facilities. Jennifer Hopkins, senior retail associate with NAI Hiffman’s retail services group, has already represented the property owners in five new transactions.
At Tower Station, located at 956 North Neltnor Boulevard in West Chicago, new tenants include Platinum Dance Academy, El Rancho Restaurant and Lupita Bakery. Most Valuable Personnel, a full-service staffing solutions firm, has also signed a lease at the property, relocating from its current Hanover Park location with plans to open in September. The 23,184-square-foot strip center is shadow-anchored by Aldi grocery store, offers great visibility along Route 59 and has a few vacant spaces remaining.
Fire It Up, a Taco Fusion Grill, signed a lease at Railway Plaza, located at 572 Weston Ridge Court in Naperville, and will open its doors in August. The center is anchored by Starbucks, adjacent to the Metra Station and has 1,770 square feet of retail space available. Nelson Plaza, a 32,655-square-foot outdoor shopping center located at 402-414 Nelson Road, offers a high traffic location directly across from Jewel grocery store; the center has three vacant units ranging in size from 1,322 to 6,029 square feet.
