Sony renews 281,464-square-foot lease with Sun Life Assurance Co. of Canada

NAI Hiffman recently represented Sun Life Assurance Co. of Canada in its lease renewal with Sony Music Holdings Inc. for the 281,464-square-foot building at 430 Gibraltar Drive in southwest suburban Bolingbrook.

The property, located off of I-55 near Route 53, is managed by NAI Hiffman. Sony has been a long-term tenant in the Sun Life facility as well as two other buildings in Bolingbrook’s Corporate Crossings Park.

“With our strategic location in the heart of the I-55 Corridor, we continue to see demand from companies like Sony who need a state-of -the-art distribution facility with convenient expressway access,” said Mark Moran, executive vice president with NAI Hiffman’s industrial services group. “We are happy to retain a quality tenant like Sony in Sun Life’s facility.”

Mark Moran and Steve Connolly of NAI Hiffman represented Sun Life Assurance Co. of Canada in the transaction. Rich LeBrun, vice president, and Michael Quaid, property manager, lead the management team for the building. Aileen Gozzola Sandstedt of CTK Chicago Partners represented Sony.
