I do what I do because I truly love it. The day I stop loving it is the day I do something else. Life is too short to not enjoy what you do everyday. I am very fortunate to be in this position. I get up every day excited because every day is different with new challenges and opportunities. I love that I get to work with great people, clients, colleagues and competitors. I love the hunt, the competitiveness, the problem solving and being able to add value. I feel very fortunate to have found this industry 24 years ago.

Dan Leahy is an Executive Vice President and Partner at NAI Hiffman and specializes in assisting industrial users and owners with their real estate strategy and implementation. As the founding member and Managing Director of NAI Global Logistics, he applies an integrated approach to assist property owners, shippers, manufacturers and logistic companies. Dan has expertise in all aspects of corporate real estate, including lease negotiation/restructuring, strategic planning, build-to-suit oversight, site selection consulting, logistical consulting, labor analysis, incentive consulting and disposition/leasing services. Over the past 22 years, he has completed over 500 transactions totaling in excess of $2 billion in transaction volume and is recognized as one of Chicago’s and the country’s top industrial brokers. Dan is a graduate of Southern Illinois University where he earned a BS degree in Communications and Economics.
