Why did you decide to go into commercial real estate?
In the eight years prior to joining NAI Hiffman, I worked in residential real estate. My friend Cindy Nickell, was working at NAI Hiffman at the time and told me of an open Marketing position. The rest is history!
What was the toughest challenge you faced when you were starting out?
The toughest challenge I faced was rejoining the workforce after being an at-home mom for 12 years. It wasn’t that I lacked experience, skills or even confidence in my abilities. It was, however, the feeling of guilt that I was missing out on some of the day-to-day life “stuff” with my girls. I am thankful that I’ve been able to achieve a nice balance between home life and work at NAI Hiffman.
What resources have been invaluable to you?
I’m in my ninth year at NAI Hiffman and the greatest resources are my fellow coworkers, and the integrity in our leadership. I work alongside some crazy-talented people, and there is never shame in asking for advice or assistance. NAI Hiffman is successful because we blend our talents and experience to get great results.
