Community is central to office return efforts

Carrie Szarzynski, senior vice president, brought her perspective on getting workers back to the office as a panelist at Bisnow’s recent Tenant Wellness & Leasing Summit in Chicago.

Office community became a focus of discussion as reimagined real estate strategies help better meet changing employee needs.

“It’s about having an outdoor space [employees] can sit outside and do work from, having food available to them…the flexibility of different spaces to sit in. Nobody wants to sit at the same desk all day long. They want to be able to go to a collaborative space and sit with their peers and have a conversation.”
