Fictional Characters Face off in Hiffman National’s Property Management March Madness

Congratulations to TED LASSO, winner of our 2024 Hiffman National Property Management March Madness tournament!

According to over 3,700 total votes throughout the tournament, voters awarded Ted with the honor of ‘Best Fictional Property Manager.’ Here’s what some experienced property managers had to say about theri support of the fictional coach:

“Ted Lasso’s unwavering optimism would surely be a useful trait to have when dealing with tenants/vendors and other unforeseen circumstances that property managers face” – Zach Post

“I think Ted Lasso would be the best at bringing out the strengths in everyone on his team. He leads by building everyone up so they excel in their own ways. Also, he’d be the most fun to share a pint with at work events and happy hours!” – Erin Loszach

Would the laid-back, unflappable style of “The Dude” from The Big Lebowski be the ideal temperament for a commercial property manager? How about the highly-organized, Type A approach of Monica Gellar from Friends? Would the laziness and inattention Homer Simpson displays in his role at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant translate well to a career in commercial real estate? The Hiffman National Property Management March Madness contest seeks to answer those questions by pitting 64 fictional characters against one another in a tournament bracket to determine which individual’s qualities are best suited to a property management career.

Hiffman National Property Management March Madness

Hiffman posed the question in a poll beginning in early March, with winners of each of the 32 contests advancing to a second round that began Wednesday, March 6th. The field will be narrowed further beginning with Sweet Sixteen poll matchups conducted on the Hiffman National LinkedIn page. (Be sure to follow the page to see all updates as they occur). To vote in Round Two, fill in this form by midnight on Sunday, March 10.

A certain fictional football/soccer coach has put on some impressive performances as he moved onto the Elite 8, is Ted Lasso now the clear favorite?
