My career started in Philadelphia after I graduated in 2008, right when the financial markets were crumbling and the economy was moving in the same trajectory. I had accepted a job with Otis Elevator selling and managing maintenance contracts for some of the largest high rises and casinos in Philadelphia and Atlantic City. It was a tough time to cut your teeth in sales! While I didn’t stay in the elevator industry, I found my passion for real estate when talking to my clients about their building portfolios, tenant mix, capital planning and overall strategy. It was also a great time to learn the value of being a resource to the client and finding creative solutions to solve challenging problems.

I feel privileged to be a part of the NAI Hiffman team and to be living in Chicago, an industrial market of 1.25 billion square feet of product. The opportunities are endless if you work hard and treat people well. Our office provides a unique mix of team members that are fiercely competitive, collaborative and fun to be around, both in and out of the office, and a culture that’s allowed our company to help our clients consistently achieve their own goals.

I grew up in Cleveland, attended Purdue University, spent five years in Philadelphia after graduation and then chased a girl (now my wife) out to Hawaii and lived there for almost three years. The cultural differences in all of these locales still amazes me! I moved to Chicago in 2015 and quickly fell in love with the city. World class food, great people and a list of things to do and places to see you couldn’t achieve in two lifetimes are what make this city so incredible. I’m an avid sports fan and although I now call Chicago home, my loyalty will always lie with the Browns, Guardians and Cavs.
