Bob Assoian

Bob Assoian’s professional career in asset and property management spans more than 35 years. As Executive Managing Director, Head of Advisory Services at Hiffman, Bob oversees the Hiffman National Advisory Services business line, encompassing Lender Services, Project Services, Lease Administration, Asset Inspections and Workplace Solutions.

A passionate, knowledgeable commercial real estate expert, Bob brings an experienced and comprehensive perspective to the evaluation and operation of property assets and operations. His broad background provides a holistic understanding of the financial, operational and market factors that drive success for his clients. Bob also is an experienced court appointed receiver and has represented major assets on behalf of lenders and special servicers.

Before joining Hiffman in 2011, Bob was an EVP of Asset Management for the investment management group at Grubb & Ellis Realty Investors where he managed a $1.3 billion portfolio of real estate across the Midwest and Southeast regions. He previously served as Director of Asset Services for CBRE and as VP of Asset Management for the Midwest region of The Traveler’s Realty Investment Company, the real estate arm of the Traveler’s Insurance Company.

Bob earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Hartford and received his MBA in real estate/finance from the University of Connecticut. He also holds the CPM and CCIM designations.
