Two aspects of Property Management that I truly enjoy are all of the different people and personalities that you meet along the way, from clients to tenants to vendors, consultants, co-workers, municipalities, etc. Those relationships help make my work life a little richer. Second is the versatility that is inherent in this role. On any given day you can be an insurance guru, financial reporting whiz, legal guide, debt collector, plumber, problem solver, peacemaker, construction manager, event planner, etc. There is always something new to learn and never a dull moment!
If I wasn’t in Commercial Real Estate and my Carribean Coffee Shop/Dog Rescue & Day Care wasn’t an option – I’d be finding ways for my family and I to do charitable works while traveling the world.
