I do what I do because I honestly don’t know anything else I’d prefer to do more. Each client, project and property is unique, so it’s always a new experience. It’s the reason I don’t hate Monday mornings or live for Friday evenings. On any given day I’m a negotiator, a strategist, an analyst, a match maker and sometimes a friend who will just listen. Most of all, I appreciate the trust my clients place in me and the satisfaction I get from earning that trust.
Outside of work strangely looks a lot like “inside of work”, but with the addition of my wife, three kids, and two dogs. That’s not because my family feels like work (at least most days) or because I work all the time, but because work life and home life so often intersect. Some clients and coworkers are like family and I’ve had the chance to attend their weddings, travel together, celebrate birthdays (theirs and their kids’), or just hang out. Family, faith and career are all very important to me and I’m blessed that they often go hand in hand.
