2023 is shaping up to be a record year for Chicago’s industrial developers with 22.8 million square feet already brought to completion. With 21.4 million square feet currently projected to be completed by the end of Q4 2023, it is likely that 2023 will surpass Chicago’s record of 28.8 million square feet of completed industrial product, which occurred in 2021.

Above, we have created a running Top 10 Developers for 2023 by quarter for the Chicagoland market measured by new construction deliveries, along with projected top developers for the Fourth Quarter of 2023.
